BAKER'S DOZEN
INTERNATIONAL COLLAGE EXCHANGE AND EXHIBITION
deadline: March 1, 1999
Project
This is a collage exchange that will be executed by participating members of the Collage Email Group. (to join go here) The works exchanged will also be documented by the Museum and exhibited on the museum's website. Cecil Touchon reserves the right to share copyright with the artists in regard to the works exchanged for use on the IMCAC website or in other related publications.

A Baker's Dozen is a submission of 13 collages with a return of 12. The 13th will be retained by Cecil Touchon (see photo), the host and director of the Museum for the Museum's collection. The intention of this exchange is to share knowledge of style and technique and working standards through direct example among artists working the the same medium. Works should be similar in nature to your normal working method.

Participation in the exchange is limited to collage artists who are part of the Collage email group listed above. Each artist will create 13 physical paper collages. These will then be mailed by March 1st, 1999 to Cecil Touchon (address below) who will then document the submitted works via photograph and digital scan. He will then select one work from each artist for the Museum's archives. The works will then be divided into as many units of 12 as there are submissions. Care will be taken to divide the works equally in terms of perceived quality and diversity of style. The packages will then be mailed out, one package of 12 collages to all participating artists.
