about 1,000 as of mid-'05)
Over the next two
years we want
to collect, by donation, ten thousand objects from artists, writers,
composers, etc. including the following;
THINGS WE NEED:
1) Old Black and White
Photographs -
( for the Department of Photographic Records)
- Go to the flea
market, auctions, garage
sales, antique
stores, thrift stores, your grandmother's attic and collect all of the
old black and white photos that you are willing to contribute. Send
them
to the address below.
2) Collages, Constructions and
Assemblages - (for
the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction)
- If your
feeling generous, make a
collage, construction
or assemblage and send it in to be included in the permanent collection

3) Media
- Indy Films, Video, Animation, constructed
audio works, micro sound, collaged field recordings, intermedia
works, fluxus works, scores, instructions, first
edition books you just finished related to the arts include
yourself in the museum!
- Put us on your mailing list for promotional materials
4) Send Money
- Money sent
will be used to deal with all
of the other
stuff that gets sent in such as:
- to buy
archival storage materials,
- catalog
everything,
- provide
storage facilities,
- document and
photograph,
- arrange
exhibitions,
- create
publications, etc.
